Job Description

  • Preparation of annual planning and interim forecasts for the NSC cost centers
  • Monitoring and analysis of financial data (P&L and balance sheet) as well as support of the managing director and business unit manager with ad hoc inquiries
  • Support out monthly closing activities in particular the preparation of financial statements (according to IFRS and HGB) and reports on budget deviations for the NSC
  • Monthly local and global reporting as well as proactive management of all relevant operational KPIs in particular deviation analyses between actual / budget / forecast of costs and corresponding cost drivers
  • Calculation and controlling of NSC service fees
  • Support of the HGB individual financial statements of the NSC companies and main contact for the auditors
  • Support with crossfunctional projects; independent implementation of crossfunctional projects in the area of reporting and controlling processes
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines (compliance)

Qualifications :

  • Successfully completed business studies (ideally with a focus on accounting) or relevant commercial training with many years of professional experience
  • Several years of relevant professional experience with corresponding skills and experience in accounting or financial controlling
  • Experience in a global environment with corresponding reporting knowledge to the parent company is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of accounting (HGB/IFRS)
  • Very analytical and structured approach; ability to quickly familiarize with new areas ability to think abstractly and at the same time enthusiasm for details
  • Reliability communication skills processoriented and crossfunctional perspective
  • High level of selfmotivation and commitment as well as creativity in problem solving
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and IBM Cognos is an advantage
  • Very good German and conversational English skills
