VACANCY DESCRIPTION:Mount Horeb Christian School (MHCS) is seeking a candidate for the upcoming 202425 school year in our Middle School to teach Bible. Mount Horeb Christian Schools Preschool8th grade campus includes five classrooms of grades Preschool K1st 2nd 3rd4th and 5th8th. The ideal candidate will prayerfully help students learn attitudes skills and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature able and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.
Mount Horeb Christian School (MHCS) was founded in 2019 to serve the town of Mount Horeb and the surrounding communities. In July 2023 MHCS officially became an independent Preschool8th Grade school and in 2024 we expanded our campus to include preschool programs. Our school provides a safe caring and Christcentered environment for students in grades K8 as well as 3K and 4K preschool programs. MHCS is proud to be one of six schools that make up Impact Christian Schools.
Mount Horeb just is fifteen minutes west of Madison WI and holds a world of smalltown charm and hospitality in each part of their community.

- The teacher shall be a mature sincere Christ follower who feels called by God to the teaching profession.
- Must hold a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must holdorbe eligible to obtain an Association of Christian School International (ACSI) teaching certification.
PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- ACSI Certified Teacher.
- State of Wisconsin certifiedTeacher.
- Three to five years of classroom teaching experience.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Fulltime salary $37612 $45000 Depending on Experience Prorated by FTE
- Position as a Bible Teacher (middle school) is 0.3448 FTE which includes teaching two sections of middle school Bible.
