Job Description
Multisystemic Therapist
National Counseling Group Inc. (an ncgCARE Partner) is seeking a therapist with mental health clinical training and experience to join our Manassas MST Team. This is an evidencebased program that focuses on a wellresearched communitybased treatment model directed at youth involved in criminal activity and their families.
The therapist will blend the best clinical treatments including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy behavior modification and family therapy modalities within the MST model. The therapist will perform an assessment of family strengths and needs define problematic behaviors and implement a treatment plan according to MST Standards. The therapist empowers parents and caregivers with the skills and resources needed to independently address difficulties that arise in raising adolescents and empower youth to cope with family peer school and neighborhood problems.
Sessions are typically conducted in the familys home/community setting. Therapists must be able to provide oncall 24 hours coverage. Therapists work a flexible schedule based on the familys availability school meeting and court hearing schedules. Therapists carry an average caseload of 6 clients.
