The Billing Processor accurately processes the required paperwork from retail sales and records the transactions. You will also ensure that the appropriate documentation is retained and funding is completed for all sales promptly.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
- Process all paperwork from retail sales following lender and dealership guidelines.
- Submits sold finance products to the appropriate providers.
- Verifying the cost and transactions for each vehicle sale
- Ensures proper billing of all sold vehicles by setting up receivables & payables etc
- Process tax checks and process payments for trade payoffs.
- Research resolve discrepancies with the billing process and monitor and reconcile accounts.
- Remit finance and insurance products.
- Research and help resolve discrepancies or issues in the billing process.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Follow scheduled hours as needed defined by your manager.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Type of Experience Needed to be Successful:
- 1 3 years of experience in billing or other accounting services is preferred.
Specialized Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel.
- Understanding of vehicle inventory accounting and schedule reconciliation is preferred.
- Excellent data entry and organizational skills.
- Must be dependable able to follow directions and work well with others.
- Strong desire to provide a high level of customer service.
