JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Altoona invites applications for a Part Time Instructor in the Department of Physics for Fall 2025.
Candidate must have a Ph.D. Masters degree or must be a graduate student in physics or related fields.
Teaching responsibilities would include introductory physics lab courses and sometimes lecture courses for science engineering and nonscience majors as well as tutoring at the Student Success Center.
Applicants should submit a letter of application establishing their qualifications; a current vita; a description of teaching approach and evidence of teaching effectiveness; and transcripts (with official transcripts required at the time of the interview).
