As the FP&A Manager you will report to the Director of FP&A and serve as a Finance Business Partner to CrossCountrys Market and Service Line Leaders. This role will play a key part in financial planning budgeting forecasting and performance analysis ensuring alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial insights into strategic recommendations. We are also considering candidates based in Chicago or New York.
Key responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Lead budgeting forecasting and longterm financial planning for assigned markets and service lines.
Provide variance analysis and actionable insights on financial performance highlighting risks and opportunities.
Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisionmaking.
Collaborate closely with the accounting team on the monthly financial close to ensure budget/forecast variances are properly addressed in a timely manner
Execute adhoc financial analyses and special projects as directed by finance leadership
Business Partnering & Strategy:
Act as a strategic advisor to Market and Service Line Leaders providing financial guidance and scenario analysis.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive profitability efficiency and revenue growth.
Support pricing strategies contract negotiations and investment decisions.
Reporting & Insights:
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports with key performance indicators (KPIs).
Deliver presentations to senior leadership translating financial data into clear strategic insights.
Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement:
Enhance financial processes and reporting tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Implement best practices in financial analysis planning and business intelligence.
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A methodologies and systems.
Team Leadership:
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and excellence.
Qualifications and Skills
FP&A experience within a professional services firm.
Strong financial modeling forecasting and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently in a fastpaced resultsdriven environment.
Proficiency in financial planning applications (Adaptive) and intermediate proficiency in accounting ERPs (Sage Intacct) resource management applications (Kantata) and CRM systems (Salesforce) with the ability to configure troubleshoot and optimize these systems.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Windows Word PowerPoint and Outlook with advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to identify trends discrepancies and anomalies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of collaborating with crossfunctional teams and addressing stakeholder inquiries.
Problemsolving mindset with the ability to proactively identify process inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
