Key job responsibilities
Amazon seeks Financial Analyst I to support our Global Real Estate and Facilities team for INDIA region. Role is primarily responsible for financial analysis and reporting supporting monthly financial close activities preparation of annual budgeting and forecasting processes and controllership. Partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis insightful guidance and financial leadership to organization. Financial Analyst will also lead variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews as well as execute adhoc projects business analysis financial modeling as needed.
Review and consolidation of Accrual ageing and publishing.
Creation of month end commentary and convert it to the SQL review file for WD3 and prep for review call.
Review and reporting of NDC collection & reconciliation once in a quarter.
Retention Invoice analysis and payment updates.
Reserve ledger recon check and amortization postings in month end and coordination with FOAA team for AMC invoices.
Address and guide on adhoc financial inquiries or issues from team members & stakeholders.
Closely work and monitory Annual/adhoc PO creation progress based on the budget estimates.
4 years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
3 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
Knowledge of standard software including Excel Access Oracle Essbase SQL and VBA skills
Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning forecasting and reporting
Bachelor in Commerce Graduation or equivalent with 6 or more years of experience / MBA experience equivalent with 4 years in FP&A or CA post qualification experience equivalent with 2 years in FP&A closing of Books of accounts and reporting & analytics.
2 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Experience in TM1 Data Warehouse and SQL
Experience in managing evaluating analyzing data quickly and creating meaningful business reporting.
Good financial acumen with problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Good in managing competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Good interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
