Discover Impactful Work:
This is a Site Specialist position with the Unity Lab Services team focused on service delivery excellence at client sites located in the Thousand Ca region.
Specific activities relative to the job function could include a portfolio of services including inventory managment order management operating customer receiving/procurement systems stockroom services material handling order entry shipping/receiving chemical registration.
A day in the Life:
- Handle incoming surplus client assets and process disposal either to auction recycle landfill redeployment etc.
- Maintain good documentation practices while sorting filing cataloging.
- Relocate equipment assets pallet containers around warehouse as needed.
- Partner with third party buyers and coordinate asset pickups.
Keys to Success:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- 2 years of warehouse experience required.
- Excellence in customer service skills.
- Detail oriented problem solver promotes team environment.
- Computer/software skills. (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint).
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Works primarily at customer locations in office environment to include cubicles and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks stock rooms storage locations and laboratory environments.
- Extensive walking may be required.
- May pass through areas where chemicalbased allergens may be in use (such as penicillin tetracycline etc..
- Must be able to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Use of material handling equipment such as push carts hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Depending on area of building personal protective equipment may be worn to include lab coats coveralls hood facemask hairnets steel toe shoes bump hats safety gloves and/or safety glasses.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Works primarily at customer locations in office environment to include cubicles and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks stock rooms storage locations and laboratory environments.
Walking/standing required for 7585 of the day.
May pass through areas where chemicalbased allergens may be in use (such as penicillin tetracycline etc..
Ability to lift push and pull 3040 pounds consistently; may be required to lift 50 lbs.
Personal protective equipment (lab coats coveralls hood facemask hairnets and/or safety gloves) in certain buildings/areas.
Some areas require steel toe shoes bump hats and/or safety glasses.
This position does not offer relocation benefits.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $19.64$29.46.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
