Key job responsibilities
You know and love solving problems using data working with business intelligence tools can build ETL pipelines statistical models using multidimensional data sets and can partner with business owners to answer key questions. You are analytical innovative creative disruptive and you dont give up. In this role you will have an opportunity to launch new features in our data lake from scratch add new products to our inventory influence targeting strategy for our products implement end to end reporting solutions and support product managers in their day to day testing and business needs.
1. Partner with Pharmacy business tech and data science leadership to define and deliver a worldclass data infrastructure supporting Amazon Pharmacys continued growth and our mission to be Earths Best Pharmacy.
2. Architect scalable and resilient data solutions for real time and batch processing. Build selfservice business intelligence infrastructure for Amazon Pharmacy analytics users
3. Partner with Business Intel Engineers Software Development Engineers Data Engineers Product Managers and other tech teams to invent design and build data solutions that are stable and performant.
4. Help your team evolve by actively participating in the code review process design discussions team planning and metric reviews
5.. Make recommendations for new metrics techniques and strategies to improve campaign targeting and measurement.
6. Improve Amazon Pharmacys capabilities/products and help business owners uncover hidden opportunities using data analytics and machine learning.
7. Provide adhoc and automated access to large data sets.
8. Understand business and product strategies goals and objectives. Set the analytics roadmap to drive the goals of the business.
9. Own the analytics for one or more product areas lead planning and delivery of projects for that area(s) manage stakeholders and internal customer/client needs/requests

3. We continuously look ahead to identify common patterns in analytics and pave the road for Amazon Pharmacy teams to quickly and easily solve business objectives and derive insights from data using native AWS solutions wherever possible and finally
4. We surface key performance indicators for product and process improvements spanning across various pharmacy departments.
2 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel Tableau QuickSight MicroStrategy PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. ttest Chisquared)
Experience with scripting language (e.g. Python Java or R)
Bachelors degree
Masters degree or Advanced technical degree
Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
Experience with statistical analysis corelation analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $165600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
