The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a qualified individual to ensure the appropriate programming treatment and reentry services are offered at the Maricopa Reentry Center (MRC).
Creates and maintains monthly programming schedules for all program activities at the Reentry Center
Schedules activities and troubleshoots obstacles to program participation and operation
Schedules residents into classes and services
Works with Reentry Center staff to facilitate communication between service providers to ensure maximum utilization of program slots
Serves as the liaison between Reentry Center staff and referring Community Corrections Officers
Functions as the Reentry Center Liaison between community organizations offering services at Reentry Center and ADCRR
Actively seeks out new services to add to Reentry Center
Manages and supervises staff; serves as a backup to staff as needed
Ensures services are provided in accordance with application law rules regulations policies and procedures
Updates and maintains databases related to residents participation programs
Prepares quantitative and qualitative reports for programs and program participation rates
Conducts quality control and improvement audits of programs and services offered at Reentry Center
Reviews develops and recommends policies practices and processes improvements to ensure accuracy
Drives on State business
Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:
Reentry services
Principles and practices of management and supervision
Evidencebased programming
Best practices for correctional programs and community supervision
Community resources and requirements for participation in those resources
Adult learning processes
Computers and various software
Business English grammar and correspondence

Collecting and maintaining accurate data/documentation
Ability to:
Supervise and work with a diverse group of professionals
Deliver program curriculum to inmate participants in a classroom environment
Interact professionally with offenders in a group setting and oneonone situations
Interact professionally with security staff and the public
Work in a secure/correctional environment
Collect maintain and report statistical data
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Bachelors or Masters Degree with at least three 3 years of experience in program delivery or management
Correctional experience or knowledge of ADCRR policies procedures Arizona Correctional Information System (ACIS) and case management system
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid classappropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C. R210207.11.
In an effort to maintain a safe environment all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
