Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Red Wing United States. As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilitys equipment and systems through regular maintenance repairs and troubleshooting.
- Perform routine inspections of machinery equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and plumbing issues in a timely manner
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and breakdowns
- Install modify and upgrade equipment and systems as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and parts inventory
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance tasks
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules
- Keep work areas clean organized and free of safety hazards
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2nd Class B MN State Boilers License (obtained or willing to obtain)
- Prefer 3 years of experience minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Valid drivers license
- Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Basic computer skills for maintenance management systems
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in industrial settings
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various positions (standing kneeling climbing)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and oncall rotations as needed
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g. Boiler operations HVAC electrical plumbing) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and other departments
