Under general supervision of the Chair of Communication Disorders and Sciences the Staff Audiologist provides professional clinical services in auditory testing vestibular testing and hearing aid dispensing offered to clients and their families at the CSUN Language Speech and Hearing Center. The incumbent assumes an essential role for participating as a preceptor for oncampus practice placements for the students in the Doctor of Audiology Program in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences and provides advisory input for the Centers audiology budget and on policies and procedures for scheduling (clients students and preceptors).

*NOTE: To view the full position description including all of the required qualifications copy and paste this link into your browser: degree or equivalent in audiology from an educational institution approved by the California SpeechLanguage Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board AND equivalent to two 2 years of clinical audiology work OR equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities.

  • Possess and maintain a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology awarded by the American SpeechLanguageHearing Association AND a valid audiology and hearing aid dispensing license from the California SpeechLanguage Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
