Software Development Engineer NextGen Security Automation

The NextGen Security Automation team is looking for a skilled and driven Software Development Engineer (SDE II) to build autonomous security solutions that protect Amazons customers. As an SDE II you will leverage AI/ML technologies to automate security issue remediation at Amazon scale.



Key job responsibilities
Develop AI/MLdriven system capable to autonomously remediate security issues.
Build and maintain a suite of AI agents capable to perform a set of tasks to safely rolling out in production security fixes at scale.
Collaborate with security teams to enhance existing security practices guardrails and tooling.
Integrate those new solutions into Amazon security ecosystem
Research and prototype new security solutions evaluating design approaches for technical feasibility.

We are building a new team to rethink how we address security issues at Amazon. This team will be responsible to build autonomous AIdriven solutions to remediate security issues at Amazon scale.

Experience (noninternship) in professional software development
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
