Job Description
Amazons Customer Intent program builds systems that seek to understand all the interactions that customers have with Amazon and distill that information into higherlevel understanding to enable tailored personalized shopping experiences across Amazon.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team leading a green field space strategically important to Amazons next generation recommendations capabilities in understanding customer behavior. You will hone your skills in areas such as deep learning and natural language understanding while building scalable industrial machine learning systems that handle billions of requests a day.
As a Sr. TPM you will work in a highly collaborative team of engineers and scientists and lead the technical program management for key Personalization systems and CXs on Amazon. You will anticipate bottlenecks provide escalation management anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance customer and business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to assimilate a large number of inputs from stakeholders develop cohesive designs and functional specs prioritize and deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. You will clearly communicate goals requirements roadmaps and timelines to internal crossfunctional and remote project teams. You are entrepreneurial innovative and thrive on solving complex problems. Maturity sound business and technical judgement negotiation skills ability to influence and leadership are essential to success in this role.
You will collaborate with teams and leaders across the entire company including the most strategic programs and gain exposure to many aspects of the Amazon business. You will be a part of a fast paced growing research and development team.

7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5 years of technical product or program management experience
3 years of software development experience
5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multimillion dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
