As a critical customerfacing division our Account Executives serve as trusted advisors helping organizations transform their purchasing operations through Amazon Business. In this leadership role you will guide and empower a highperforming team of Account Executives specializing in the Manufacturing & Industrial sector orchestrating their success from initial customer prospecting through strategic account expansion. Beyond sales leadership you will drive crossfunctional excellence by directing essential business pillars including targeted marketing initiatives product innovation and strategic supplier relationship management. This multifaceted role offers the opportunity to shape the future of B2B commerce while delivering measurable value to sophisticated enterprise clients in the manufacturing space.
Key job responsibilities
Lead a dynamic team of 68 Account Executives dedicated to maximizing growth within the B2B MidMarket segment. Drive exceptional performance through datadriven leadership establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) while orchestrating strategic revenuegenerating activities. Architect and implement sophisticated industryspecific gotomarket strategies that leverage market intelligence competitive analysis and customer insights to capture new business opportunities and deepen existing account penetration.
Champion a metricsdriven culture focused on achieving quantifiable outcomes including pipeline development account expansion and revenue acceleration. Utilize advanced analytics and market trends to continuously refine targeting strategies optimize sales processes and identify highpotential growth opportunities across diverse industry verticals.
Take ownership of industry verticals within commercial sector to be a leading expert with its supply chain practices needs and opportunities.
Drive endtoend talent acquisition strategies to build and maintain a bestinclass sales organization including defining ideal candidate profiles sourcing toptier talent and executing rigorous interview processes.
Develop and nurture Account Executives as they improve their skills processes and tools to effectively prospect present close and grow adoption of Amazon Business.
Participate in customer meetings to support Account Executives as they work with their customers.
Represent the Voice of Customer by working crossfunctionally with marketing sales operations professional services and product/tech.
The ideal candidate will have B2B sales and management experience including identifying developing negotiating and closing large scale deals.
BA/BS or equivalent
5 years of sales experience
2 years of management experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office products and applications CRMs (e.g. Salesforce) sales and marketing automation tools and eLearning tools
Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
Experience hiring and leading sales or account management teams focused on acquiring and managing existing customers
MBA preferred
8 years of management experience
Experience conversing with senior customer stakeholders including CSuite VPs and Directors
Experience selling to large medium and small merchants and successfully delivering a multimillion dollar sales quota
