Hiring English Teachers Across the UK
Start date: September 2025
About the School:
Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified passionate and enthusiastic English Teachers to work at secondary schools across the UK on a fulltime basis as soon as possible for the remainder of the current academic year.
This role is a fulltime position and is open to both recent graduates as well as more experienced teachers of English.
The successful candidate will need to immediately fully immerse themselves in the school and the department and assist in planning and preparing engaging lessons that will interest and stretch the students. You will also be required to attend departmental meetings & parent evenings when necessary. You will also need to mark the work and provide regular feedback and progress reports to students demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.

Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be required to register with Prospero Teaching to fill this vacancy. Ideally you will already have a full DBS on the update service but if not we can process a new one.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Education
- Successfully undergo a certified criminal record check
- Be eligible to work in the UK (British Passport Youth Mobility Visa Ancestry Visa)
- Have two recent professional teaching references covering the last two years
