Job Title:HLA Serology Technologist (Entry Senior Level)
Position: #Requisition: #35457
Job Summary:
This position performs clinical laboratory testing to determine ABO and MHC compatibility of transplant recipients and donors which includes HLA antibody screening and crossmatching. Adheres to standards of external regulatory bodies including ABHI CAP and CLIA. Understands principles of histocompatibility and immunogenetics. Prepares reagents while adhering to strict quality control guidelines; performs and documents instrument function checks and preventive maintenance. Works independently and with others; readily adapts to changes in work environment; performs multiple tasks simultaneously. Communicates effectively with others. Participates in oncall activities and continuing education; demonstrates initiative in accomplishing the goals of the laboratory.

The above salary range or hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
