The Department of Human Genetics at the University of Utah is launching a multiyear recruiting initiative targeting multiple tenuretrack positions. We seek applications for tenuretrack faculty positions at any rank and value creative scientists that bring innovative techniques perspectives and questions. We seek candidates whose research programs expand our departments diverse strengths in disease developmental evolutionary and computational genetics and researchers bringing exciting questions and approaches from any area of genetics using any experimental system (for example model organisms) are strongly encouraged to apply. The Department of Human Genetics is a vibrant and growing research community. We value mentorship and are committed to fostering a collaborative and nurturing community of scientists. Demonstration of a commitment to these values will be important in the selection process. Individuals must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. or equivalent degrees at any rank.
