We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to interpret technical specifications manage cost planning and assess risks and opportunities in design changes. You will track quantities perform cost analysis and collaborate with project teams for value engineering and design optimization. Proficiency in CATS estimating software Excel and liaising with procurement and design teams is essential. If youre detailoriented and focused on cost savings wed love to hear from you.
About the role:
- Provide iterative feasibility cost plan pricing for commercial project analysis.
- Monitor competitive prices cost trends and new techniques.
- Assist site managers in developing major variation/EOT claims.
- Interpret drawings specifications and assess their impact on project costs.
- Lead cost planning risk assessments and present project costs to business leaders.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary or Trade Qualifications in Construction Engineering Science Quantity Surveying and/or Project/Construction Management.
- Must be proficient in the following Software packages: Microsoft Excel AutoCAD Bluebeam.
- 57 years experience in construction cost planning tendering or project delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current CClass Drivers License.
