Job Description
Prime Video is seeking a Graphics Production Artist for our growing Global Live Sports Production team. This role will work with the Sr. Creative Services Manager to support the graphics needs of our various sports packages and studio shows. This role requires a collaborative spirit ownership attention to details flexibility technical skills design sense and the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
This role will be a driving force behind the and support of onair graphics for all Live Sports Productions including workflows between internal and external partners. The Graphics Production Artist will focus on servicing the graphic needs of our entire portfolio and upcoming studio shows.
A successful candidate will have experience with workflows related to all facets of on air/live sports graphics design and will work alongside production production operations and the technical operations teams often with little oversight. You will need to be a quick learner able to understand and follow stakeholder workflows and timelines.
You will find yourself in scenarios where you are working as part of a team and where you act on behalf of our team. The ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines will be critical to the success of this position.
The desire and ability to learn and be curious staying on the leading edge of graphic design trends and technology specific to that field will be of the utmost importance. You will need to thrive in a startup environment and working on projects that may be foreign to some of your industry peers. Overall sports knowledge and understanding of each properties graphics needs and nuances will also be crucial to success.
Key job responsibilities
Providing graphics production support for 2D 3D and motion graphics needs (Prepping 2D artwork rendering versions of animations designing set graphics topic bugs)
Ensuring that Prime Videos visual identity remains consistent across all platforms including onair graphics on set and promotional materials
Technical skills using required software with an eye for design and composition
Ability to coordinate and track high volume of work through an endtoend workflow
Excellent verbal and written communication skills can clearly articulate and document technical processes and workflows
Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities tools workflow and technology
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products
Ability to create both broadcast motion graphics digital assets and print materials
5 years of creative services/production experience
Understanding of design branding and motion graphics principles
Basic graphic design skills (typography composition color)
Proficiency in creative tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator Premiere After Effects Acrobat Media Encoder)
Familiarity with file formats codecs frame rates color spaces print production CMYK
Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency network streaming
service or studio
Experience with digital asset management file structures naming conventions delivery
Ability to problemsolve and multitask in fastpaced dynamic environment
Extremely detailoriented organized and a team player
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts clearly
Experience working in both event/game and studio/shoulder programming settings
Experience with Duet/Chyron/Viz graphics systems
Experience developing complex motion graphics (After Effects)
Experience with 3D modeling animation rendering (Cinema 4D UNREAL)
Experience with After Effects scripting MOGRT.

The base pay for this position ranges from $108400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market.
