The Supervisor Fire & Life Safety Systems oversees skilled crafts and trades personnel responsible for the inspection testing maintenance (ITM) repair and operation of fire alarm systems Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems (ERRCS) and other critical life safety systems across UCSFs facilities. This role ensures compliance with NFPA standards The Joint Commission (TJC) Title 19 & 24 and local AHJ regulations managing system upgrades preventive maintenance emergency repairs and vendor contracts. The Supervisor provides technical leadership staff supervision and operational oversight ensuring fire life safety systems remain fully functional regulatorycompliant and futureready. This position collaborates with internal departments and external agencies to enhance system reliability streamline processes and uphold UCSFs commitment to safety innovation and compliance.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $87900 $187700 (Annual Rate).
