Software Development Engineer Ads Console Security

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our dynamic organization. As one of the fastestgrowing businesses at Amazon we are revolutionizing how advertisers connect with customers across Amazons retail websites devices and thirdparty tools.

The Ads Console Security team owns critical security infrastructure that safeguards Amazons advertising platform through robust authentication and authorization systems. Our charter encompasses internal user security signin experiences and Single SignOn (SSO) solutions that protect advertising services and sensitive data. We build and maintain scalable security systems that enable secure access while ensuring seamless user experiences.

Mentor and develop junior developers.
Own all operational metrics for your product

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Experience building scalable infrastructure software with a distributed systems with a service based approach.
Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs.
Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability performance and reliability.
Development experience defining developing and maintaining REST based interfaces

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability performance and reliability.
Excellence in technical communication with peers and nontechnical cohorts
Demonstrated ability to mentor other software developers to maintain architectural vision and software quality
Strong sense of ownership urgency and drive
Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast pace environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
