Job Title: Producer Live Ops Call of Duty
Reporting To: Executive Producer
Department: Production Management Group
Location: Santa Monica CA
Your Mission
Activision Publishing is currently looking for a Producer to join the Call of Duty franchise. We are looking for an individual who has a passion and proven track record for producing and launching great games.
As a Producer on Call of Duty you will be responsible for providing support to the production and development teams in a variety of areas related to Live Operations. This entails active involvement through all phases of live ops development including content preproduction and production and live ops scheduling implementation and . Specific duties are leading areas including but not limited to release management QA First Party submissions supporting gotomarket activations in game localizations legal clearance and other similar aspects of production while also serving as a catchall for any production tasks that require attention.
Your responsibilities will include:
Work with Live Ops teams across development studios and crossfunctional partners to carry out the Live Ops pipeline and production processes to ensure new seasons content and events are delivered to our players smoothly and punctually
Oversee different production aspects of Call of Duty live operations including First Party submission strategy and planning launch sequencing for monthly content releases localizations legal clearance and other production related areas
Coordinate with development studios business unit teams and other crossfunctional partners to help plan strategize and execute gotomarket product initiatives tied to ingame content
Work closely with QA and Technical Requirements Groups (TRG) responsible for the QA testing processes including coordination and communication between developers production team QA and TRG
Work closely with development studios QA and TRG to ensure successful First Party submissions and certification
Provide ongoing risk assessments to production team leadership with respect to weaknesses bottlenecks and risks to schedule; help troubleshoot and resolve issues
Build strong relationships with development teams and other crossfunctional groups as part of providing support to them
Be a point of contact for crossfunctional groups including Brand Management Marketing PR etc.
Manage game build schedules deliveries and distribution
Contribute creative feedback to production team leadership to help ensure product is meeting quality and feature goals
Record meeting notes when needed and translate them into a coherent organized recap and list of action items
Player Profile
5 years of Producer experience in developing and executing comprehensive game production and project plans
2 years of experience leading motivating and driving teams to achieve success
Strong knowledge of and experience in game production and development on consoles and PC
Proactive and productive; drives timely decisionmaking invested in outcomes
Resourceful steadfast and committed to delivering results
Earns trust & respect of peers and crossfunctional teams; is viewed as a great teammate and partner
Builds strong relationships across the organization (publishing and development)
Can influence without authority
Effectively balances competing priorities and devotes time to what is most important
Maintains high standards notwithstanding pressing deadlines
Actively manages own tasks and responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met
Understands fundamentals of scoping scheduling staffing and project management
Ability to identify issues and risks and provide options for resolution
Able to create scenarios for submission and release planning; knowledge of First Party timelines processes and requirements
Understands how to tailor communication style to the audience in the conversation (internal/external/developer/executive)

These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately your specific range and offer will be based on several factors including relevant experience performance and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this roles range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates new hire compensation is negotiable.
