The Plant Operator is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the gas plant which includes but is not limited to the following equipment:
Natural gas and liquids separation
Condensate stabilization
Amine treating
TEG Glycol and Mole Sieve dehydration
Turbine reciprocating and screw compression
Turbine power generation
Propane refrigeration
Natural gas cryogenic processing
Valves instrumentation meters pumps and tanks
CO2 compression treating & dehydration
Natural gas and NGL measurement
Reverse Osmosis water treating
In addition the Plant Operator will be a key contributor to EOGs proactive safety culture. The Plant Operator will interface regularly with plant technicians engineers control room management and safety teams. The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of cryogenic plant operations and have a proven track record as a leader. Position will have a rotational schedule including both day and night shifts.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a safety leader in EOGs proactive safety culture
Operate the plant in accordance with plant operating procedures
Review and provide input on new and existing plant operating procedures
Troubleshoot plant equipment and processes
Optimize plant operations to improve plant safety reliability and efficiency
Assist with plant preventative maintenance processes and managing work orders
Adhere to Management of Change (MOC) processes with required documentation
Manage and track parts inventory consumables and costs
Maintain records for daily readings
Verify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Participate in periodic PHAs for the plant
Qualifications:
Unwavering commitment to personnel safety and regulatory compliance
Strong knowledge of cryogenic plant operations with at least 5 years of experience preferred
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficient in all areas of operations and maintenance of a cryogenic plant
Excellent problem solving and decisionmaking skills
Process Safety Management (PSM) program experience
Solid understanding of instrumentation and control systems
Knowledge of turbine compression or power generation is considered a plus
High School diploma
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
