Returns and Incident Prevention is a key priority for our business. We know that customers dont always love the product they receive or that issues can arise throughout an order. Our goal is to prevent these returns & incidents proactively in the supply chain to drive customer happiness and reduce financial exposure contributing to the companys overall profitability and growth. Our team works with counterparts across Fulfillment Centers Home Delivery Operations Product Finance Transportation Logistics and Process Definition teams to drive new approaches and processes that deliver profitability and customer experience improvements. This work is broad business critical complex and highly crossfunctional.
We are looking for a datadriven and impactoriented person to drive an incident prevention roadmap within the supply chain that delivers on these objectives. The ideal candidate must be a highly flexible and hands on leader who understands how to effectively drive results in a fastpaced and rapidly growing company.
What Youll Do
- Cultivate and drive a strategic roadmap of crossfunctional initiatives intended to reduce incidents happening within the supply chain. This will include discovery prioritization and program management of new initiatives across supply chain tech.
- Lead a team of 12 analysts to drive programs and strategy
- Partner crossfunctionally with groups companywide including Product Finance Fulfillment Centers Industrial Engineering Transportation to drive alignment and against innovative solutions to challenging commercial problems intended to reduce financial incident exposure and drive customer happiness
- Understand strategic business goals and deliver innovative strategies and solutions for achieving those goals and navigating roadblocks.
- Analyze and report out on performance clearly articulate successes and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Travel to Wayfair warehouse operations <10 and build relationships with operational partners.
- Contribute to the development of tools and processes that drive efficiencies for the team and simplify the daytoday operations.

What Youll Need
- 4 years total work experience with previous experience in ecommerce supply chain reverse logistics retail management finance or management consulting preferred.
- A graduate degree in business or a technical field is welcome but not required.
- Strong expertise in analytics and tools to understand root cause & drive solution forward. Including but not limited to analyzing large data sets and using that analysis to drive business plans and priorities with deep SQL Google Big Query and dashboard creation capabilities.
- Evidence of spystartupexecution and a track record of taking on ambiguous big challenges and delivering despite obstacles limited resources or landscape ambiguity.
- Senior presence; able to clearly and consistently work sidebyside with a broad range of senior and crossfunctional leaders to achieve objectives.
- Articulate and persuasive communication skills both written and verbal.
- An inclusive and open leadership style.
- Ability to manage and prioritize projects and to delegate tasks appropriately.
- Comfortable with managing ambiguous problems applying datadriven frameworks to drive a roadmap to tackle opportunities and track record of against roadmap.
- Innovative problemsolving skills dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions.
- Experiencing navigating complex organizational structures and multiple stakeholders
- An ability to hit the ground running a confident entrepreneurial selfstarter.
An Important Note about Wayfairs InOffice Policy:
- All Bostonbased interns Coops and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days Monday Thursday and work remotely Friday.
