In this role a successful candidate will be an effective communicator and problemsolver and someone who is able to balance the needs and requirements of both Amazon and the vendor. The candidate will develop skills and work across all functional retail areas to grow and improve their vendor partners success on the Amazon retail platform. Other key tasks will include the following:
Analyze sales and key metrics to identify business opportunities for top brands.
Provide recommendations to improve sales and margin
Improve catalog quality to enhance the customer experience.
Coordinate and create launch plans for new brands launching on Amazon.
Manage site placements and promotions based on the vendors event calendar
This role is also responsible for inventory management forecast generation product launches pricing and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.
Brand Specialist roles are in the General Management career path at Amazon. The general management career path offers the opportunity for advancement into a variety of roles including Marketing/Merchandising Vendor Management Product Management and Inventory Management.
2 years of account management project or program management or buying experience Bachelors degree
3 years of account management project or program management or buying experience Experience in financial analysis retail buying retail planning & allocation product/project management marketing business development consulting negotiation or supply chain
