Job Description
Indiana University Bloomington IN. Oscar R. Ewing Professor of Philosophy. Rank: Associate or Full Professor. Preferred start date: August 1 2024. AOS : metaphysics and epistemology broadly construed preference for philosophy of mind/psychology/cognitive science. AOC : Open. The position includes the potential for significant contribution to Indiana Universitys cognitive science program and/or artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives. The normal teaching load is 4 courses annually divided equally between Fall and Spring Semester. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and strong record of research is expected. A Ph.D. in Philosophy is required.
