About the Opportunity
The Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University invites applications for the position of parttime lecturer teaching in the Computer Science CS Masters Programs at our campus in Miami Florida. Parttime positions are contingent upon enrollment funding and program needs.
Responsibilities:
Parttime faculty teach one or more courses as part of the MS CS and Align MS CS degree programs. Courses are 14 weeks long with fall spring and summer terms beginning in September January and May respectively. Each course normally meets for 3 hours and 20 minutes once per week often in the evening to support working students. Other meeting schedules are possible. Faculty are expected to teach inperson. We are searching across all areas of computer science.

Candidates must hold at least a Masters degree with industry experience. A Ph.D. in computer science or a related field is preferred. Strong written oral and interpersonal skills are required in order to communicate effectively with diverse and exceptional students inperson and online.

Pay Range:
The per credit rate for an instructor with a PhD is $4799.50.The per credit rate for an instructor with an MS degree is $3839.50.
