Job Description
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The LiDAR Mechanical Engineering Intern will be responsible for the following:
- Work closely with our senior and lead mechanical engineering team to support the R&D concept of a lidar series production calibration station
- Support engineering leads within the team with basic CAD work material procurement and fixture assembly
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications :
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Student currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree
- Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (MonFri)
- Minimum sophomore standing or higher
- Must have and maintain a 2.8 GPA or higher
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.
- Able to come onsite to our Carpinteria CA location
- Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
- Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity
