The Peer Practitioner will work as part of the Western Wellbeing Hub. This service provides mental health support to people in the West of Adelaide 5 days a week between 9am 5pm The Peer Practitioner will utilize their personal experience of mental health challenges and distress to engage with guests of the Western Wellbeing Hub and their families carers and supporters of choice. The Peer Practitioner will draw from a strengthsbased recovery orientated service of care and act as a role model towards recovery for people experiencing mental health challenges and distress including in times of crisis. The role is based at the Western Wellbeing Hub located on Lipson Street Port Adelaide and will be supported by the Clinical Lead Western Wellbeing Hub and other leadership staff within Sonders Mental Health and AOD portfolio
