History Teacher Long Term/Supply London UK
Starting date: September 2025
About the School:
Prospero Teaching is looking for a History Teacher for an Ofsted Outstanding Secondary school in London UK.
The school is a modern mainstream Secondary School with a supportive History department and Senior Leadership Team. The school does have a 6th form although most of the timetables for this role will be key stage 3 and key stage 4.
The position is open to both Newly Qualified teachers and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
Qualifications:
- Have a Bachelor of Education or equivalent with good standing
- You hold the right to work and teach in the UK (UK passport holder Youth Mobility Visa Sponsorship or Ancestry Visa)
- Successfully undergo RCMPcertified criminal record checks
- Provide at least two professional teaching references covering the last two years
