Job Description

Concern Housing is seeking a Weekend Overnight Counselor who will be primarily responsible for the overall monitoring and safety of tenants at the site.
Position: Weekend Overnight Counselor
Location: Bronx NY (St. James NY)
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday; 12am 8am
Salary: $19.00/hr.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Read log for updates instructions and assignments.
Filing organizing charts office cleaning photocopying etc as assigned and/or as needed.
Provide brief counseling as needed redirect to core staff as appropriate.
Crisis intervention as needed.
Weekly medication counts check for accuracy and corresponding documentation.
Perform hourly walkthrough of site during shift.
Participate in monitoring of morning meds as needed.
Prompt clients needing to wake early.
Attend monthly staff meetings.
Attend agency forums.
Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.
Requirements: Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least two years of experience in a similar role.
