Link Institute on Development and Disability within the Department of Pediatrics at OHSU works with patients families clinicians researchers and many other professionals to meet the goal of improving the lives of people with disabilities. We perform research and care to support every patient from premature babies to older adults facing changes in life due to the onset of disabling conditions. With more than 100 years of practice we understand how to best meet the needs of our patients and their families in Oregon and beyond.
The Institute on Development and Disability (IDD) within the Department of Pediatrics of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking an Assistant to Associate Professor with exceptional clinical skills. The ideal candidate will have outstanding clinical experience. Applicants should be committed to clinical and academic excellence and teamwork.
The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the universitys missions and goals of teaching research patient care outreach and public service.
Services provided include individual assessments and participation on interdisciplinary teams for the evaluation and management of children and adolescents with global developmental delays intellectual disability ADHD/learning problems cerebral palsy and autism in selected Portland CDRC clinics and selected outreach sites; participation in interdisciplinary training at CDRC; service on various Institute on Development and Disability (IDD)/CDRC and OHSU committees as appropriate and assigned; engagement in public service through consultative activities with nonOHSU groups as approved by the Director; and conduct of clinical projects or research in selected areas of interest.
The duties may vary and are determined by the Discipline Director and Director of Clinical Services to meet objectives agreed upon by the Director of IDD. This position requires undivided effort at the specified FTE.
