Job Description
The B.S. Physics program at High Point University values engaging and effective teaching the integration of computation experiment and theory across the curriculum and undergraduate research The program seeks a dynamic individual who is passionate about mentoring undergraduates and committed to education as a transformational process. A M.S. in physics or closely related field is required by the time of appointment.
Applications should include the following items submitted as a single document: (i) a cover letter addressing qualifications and interest in the position (ii) curriculum vitae (iii) a statement of teaching philosophy (iv) an unofficial transcript with the highest awarded degree and (v) names and contact information for three professional references. At least one reference should be able to address the applicants teaching abilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- M.S. in physics or related field.
Experience and Training
- Teaching experience in physics and/or astronomy.
