- Nurture and follow up on warm leads (no cold calls)
- Build and manage a sales pipeline
- Manage sales opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle
- Identify qualify and close prospects; overcome objections through consultative approach
- Meet and exceed monthly sales KPIs (key performance indicators) and monthly quota
- Track and manage opportunities in Salesforce CRM following standard Five9 internal sales process
- Articulate company value proposition
- Be the subject matter expert on all services and products offered by Five9
- Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct sales preferably in Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) or Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)
- Excellent sales and presentation skills via phone email and webconference
- Demonstrated success in driving sales process and closing business over the phone
- Ability to articulate complex technology concepts to a technical and nontechnical audience
- Experience with CRM systems preferably Salesforce
- Industry experience is a huge plus but not required
- Energetic upbeat tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- College degree (BA/BS) is required
- Knowledge and understanding of contact center and unified communications technology and concepts
- Cloud services; VoIP
- Previous experience with Salesforce CRM
- SoftwareasaService Applications (Cloud) experience and understanding

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the United States. Additionally the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus stock and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
