COMPETITION: 202505

POSITION TYPE: Casual

SCHEDULE: Fulltime consisting of 4 weeks on 12hour shifts) followed by 2 weeks off

IRC was created in 1984 to represent the Inuvialuit and their rights and benefits obtained under one of Canadas oldest comprehensive land claim agreements. JOB SUMMARY

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in camp accommodations and shared spaces. This role ensures a comfortable and hygienic environment for residents by following strict cleaning schedules and standards. The Housekeeper works closely with other camp staff to support seamless camp operations.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferably in a camp hotel or remote setting.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products tools and health safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous culture and practices is considered an asset.
  • First Aid and WHMIS certifications are an advantage.
