Prepare and deliver both single session and seriesbased sessions to Stan State students in a virtual and/or facetoface format (e.g. Building a Healthy Plate Shopping on a Budget reading a Food Label Rethink your Drink and Planning Healthy Meals) using approval curricula.
Engage with students through social media platforms (Instagram (IG) via posts videos reels stories etc.
Use design software to create promotional content surrounding classes and indirect education materials.
Record edit and post recipe videos that involve studentfriendly recipes from Eatfresh.
Create Harvest of the Month posts that involve the nutrient profile of seasonal produce as well as a recipe from Eatfresh that features the seasonal produce.
Collaborate with Basic Needs through IG live sessions to showcase how CalFresh benefits can be used after becoming approved.
Form cross campus partnerships to promote and recruit participants (with a focus on students with limited resources) for classes.
Keep records of class attendance Instagram content and CFHL data in Word/Excel spreadsheet.
Attend weekly meetings with CFHL Coordinator and brainstorm ideas surrounding policy systems and environmental changes that support healthy food availability.
Attend monthly CFHL collaborative meetings to provide updates on CFHL at Stan State.
Assist with training of volunteers.
Collects and maintains documents information and records for submission to supervisor.
Support the campus by providing feedback on the climate of healthy behavior including the most pressing concerns they are seeing/experiencing in interactions.
Assist with Basic Needs and Warrior Food Pantry programming and awareness through virtual or inperson tabling and outreach events.
Serve as Basic Needs Ambassador participating in virtual or inperson popup pantry events and Basic Needs programming such as National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week Share the Love Week or CalFresh prescreening events.
Provide CalFresh prescreenings to Warrior Food Pantry participants. Complete necessary confidentiality training and other CalFresh training.
Assist with efforts to educate and market via social media print and other formats.
Identifies and develops material for Basic Needs Newsletter.
Develops content for digital signage.
Knowledgeable of and ability to use independent judgement to refer students to additional campus resources. Refer students to Basic Needs Coordinators or Care Manager for additional resources as needed.
Attend meetings with Basic Needs team as needed.
Provide regular updates to supervisor(s).
Performs other duties as assigned.

Familiar with Canva Adobe Word and PowerPoint
Ability to work with a diverse population.
Experience working with or awareness of college students who have experienced food insecurity and/ or financial hardships or emergencies.
Demonstrates ability to work evenings.
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher maintained during employment; must be making progress towards degree.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six 6 Fall/Spring units.
Postbaccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four 4 Fall/Spring units.
Availability to work during the hours of 8:30 5:00. Some evening and weekend hours.
Availability to travel to Turlock and Stockton campuses.
