You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailYou will be working outdoors in all types of weather doing general trail construction and trail maintenance that will evolve throughout the seasons. Trail maintenance duties may include cutting pushing pulling digging carrying and lifting heavy objects. Operating and maintaining power brushers and chainsaws for brush and tree removal. The work can be physically demanding at times. You will have the opportunity to learn how to use an assortment of hand and power tools. At times this position operates 4X4 trucks ATV or snow machines to get from shop to daily work site. At times will be required to operate frontend loader excavator and or tracked carrier to move equipment machinery and other materials in a safe and competent manner. You will be doing occasional painting and light building repairs and upgrades as part of the Mountain Operations Team that is working on capital improvement projects. Working with heavy machinery is likely based on current projects.
Education: No education required
Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age at time of appointment.
Previous lift operator experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate frontend loader is preferred but not required.
Some carpentry experience is preferred but not required.
License/Certification: Must possess a valid Drivers license at time of appointment and for continued employment.
