Ottawa University (established in 1865 one of the oldest private liberal arts universities in the United States is a multicampus system serving approximately 4000 students through its campuses in Kansas (Ottawa Kansas Residential Campus and Overland Park Kansas Adult Programs); Arizona (Surprise Residential Campus and OUAZ Adult Programs); Wisconsin (Brookfield Adult Programs); and our OU ONLINE PROGRAM based out of Overland Park Kansas.

Ottawa University Surprise Arizona Campus (OUAZ) invites candidates for a fulltime 12month Computer and Data Science Faculty position. The successful candidate will develop and teach a broad range of courses at the graduate level in Analytics and teach at the undergraduate level in the Computer Science program. Additional responsibilities may include teaching math and management information systems courses. Responsible for providing engaging and effective instruction as well as academic mentoring for graduate and undergraduate students; developing assessing and assuring excellent pedagogy and curriculum design both within the discipline and in contributions to the Liberal Arts core program; promoting student achievement and academic integrity on behalf of the University; collaboration with support services provided through units such as the Adawe Academic Advising Center; Academic program development for currency growth recruitment and retention.

Education: Earned Doctorate preferred (ABD considered) in Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Information Technology Computer Engineering or related field. Only candidates with terminal degrees will be considered for a tenuretrack appointment.
Work experience: Three years of higher education experience preferably in a residential liberal art setting and/or five years industry experience preferred.
