G Physical Education/Recreation Courses $1562.00 per credit

H Studio: Art $1562.00 per credit

J Studio: Music $1661.00 per credit

L2 Clinical or Internship Instructor OnSite $1562.00 per credit

L3 Clinical or Internship Rad Tech $3045.00 per credit

L4 Clinical or Internship Nursing $3182.00 $3534.00 per credit based on employees highest applicable degree

M2 Clinical or Internship Instructor OnSite $1562.00 per credit

M3 Clinical or Internship Nursing and/or Nurse Aide (Health/Nurse Aide) $2121.00 $2356.00 per credit based on employees highest applicable degree

In certain instances due to low enrollment faculty payment will be based on parttime per credit pay and prorated on a 10 per student basis.

Parttime employees also receive some benefits depending on the number of hours worked.

Job Description:

The faculty member will conduct their assignments and cocurricular college activities in a manner consistent with the philosophy and purpose of Aims Community College as stated in the school catalog. The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach.

The primary responsibilities are to instruct aviationbased courses which include 14 CFR part 141 approved curriculum. Additionally participation in professional development designing course materials to meet industry standards and collaborating on departmental and college governance initiatives are integral to the role.

Job Duties:

  • Instruct assignments which may include a variety of courses in aviation.

  • Assist in program/curriculum evaluation articulation revision and development.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development.

  • Assist with evaluation and selection of textbooks and other resource materials.

  • Instruct and maintain records in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration 14 CFR Part 141.

  • Design and update course syllabi and instructional materials to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters within the field of aviation.

  • Serve on departmental and college committees to contribute to institutional governance and academic policies.

  • Maintain proficiency and currency in the field through active involvement in professional organizations and attending conferences.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Executive Director or Academic Dean.

Work Hours:

  • Must be available to teach day and/or evening classes at the Windsor Campus.
