Minimum Qualifications: | Holds at least the masters degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching scholarship and creative projects and/or service and other related activities but is not eligible for tenure. |
Position Qualifications: | Masters degree in Sport Management or a closely related field with 18 graduate credit hours in the field of teaching coupled with pertinent work experience and continuing professional development and engagement activities to maintain qualifications for performing teaching assignment. Must meet the College of Business Policy on Faculty Qualifications. |
Preferred Qualifications | Masters degree in Sport Management. A doctoral degree in Sport Management or a closelyrelated field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Sport Management is a definite plus. Regardless of the degree it must be coupled with pertinent work experience and continuing professional development and engagement activities to maintain qualifications for performing teaching assignment and the candidate must meet the College of Business Policies on Faculty Qualifications for an Instructor position. |
