The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk engineer with 5 years of experience. You will be responsible for architecting designing and implementing Splunk solutions for a largescale environment. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and working independently.
What Youll Bring
Experience: 5 years in Splunk engineering administration and security operations
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Cybersecurity or a related field 5 additional years of experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
Certifications: Splunk Core Certified Consultant or Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin (preferred)
Skills Desired:
Expertise in Splunk Enterprise Splunk ITSI and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES)
Experience in largescale Splunk deployments and log ingestion architecture
Ability to develop custom dashboards reports and alerts
Proficiency in SPL (Search Processing Language)
Experience integrating Splunk with cloudbased environments (AWS Azure etc.
Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) knowledge
Scripting skills (Python Bash or PowerShell) for automation
Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities
Linux and Windows system administration knowledge
Ability to mentor junior engineers and work independently
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs); this particular role can accomodate FS Polys from MD or VA.
