Job Description
Are you looking to join an innovative engineering consulting firm with a strong electric utility team that supports clients in over 35 different industries Entrust Solutions Group has embraced growing markets such as renewables power engineering services EV infrastructure data analytics and geospatial with cutting edge engineering consulting and automation services.
We have a current need for an Inspector based in Huron Ohio.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the onsite Issued for Construction IFC drawings (with drawing list) are updated and with transmittals.
Review the drawings and provide feedback to avoid constructability issues.
Track the contractors marksups and collect all hard copy IFC drawings containing red marks.
Responsible for red markups and ensure all contractors have current revision of drawings Below Grade Above Grade and Testing and Commissioning.
- Collect all the projects permits requirements ensuring their compliance. Coordinate the permit inspections.
Please note: This position will be an 8 to 9 month project.
Requirements:
- Directly related experience in Construction and Maintenance of Substation Facilities or Transmission / Distribution Systems is necessary.
- Five or more years of related experience in Construction Maintenance in Construction and Maintenance of Electrical Transmission and Distribution Systems or Five or more years of related experience in Construction and Maintenance of Substation Facilities.
- General knowledge of electric line work and/or substation construction.
- General knowledge of applicable environmental regulations governing construction: storm water pollution prevention wetlands stream crossing and spill response for projects requiring environmental permit or compliance.
- Basic knowledge of industry codes governing the electric industry including NEC NESC and OSHA.
