Job Description
Seat King LLC is a leading OEM manufacturer of seating products for the commercial and residential turf industry construction industry and agriculture industry. We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Supervisor to join our team committed to creating a positive engaging and productive work environment where employees are supported valued and empowered to achieve their full potential. Work Location: This role is based in Hutchinson Kansas onsite between our downtown office and the Hutchinson Correctional Facility where our production team members operate.

Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of quality control inspectors engaged in inspecting seating products for the commercial and residential turf industry construction industry and agriculture industry.
- Implement ISO9001 quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure that all quality control activities are carried out in a safe efficient and costeffective manner.
- Monitor and maintain the effectiveness of the quality control system and make recommendations for improvements as necessary.
- Conduct quality audits identify nonconformances and implement corrective actions to address them.
- Collaborate with other departments such as production engineering sales and customer service to ensure that quality standards are aligned with customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation including standard operating procedures work instructions and quality records.
- Provide training to employees on quality control procedures and product specifications.
- Participate in the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure quality performance.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints related to product quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety health and environmental regulations and policies.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelors degree in engineering quality management or a related field highly preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a quality control role preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
- Knowledge of ISO 9001: Strong knowledge of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and its requirements including Quality Management principles and methodologies.
- Quality Assurance: Knowledge and experience in quality assurance processes including auditing corrective action root cause analysis and risk management.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and manage a team of quality professionals and develop a culture of quality excellence.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills to collect and analyze data and make informed decisions to improve processes and performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to continuously improve the QMS and organizational performance.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to effectively communicate with employees customers and external auditors.
- Problemsolving: Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills to address qualityrelated issues and develop effective solutions.
- Training and Development: Ability to develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees understand their roles and responsibilities within the QMS.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Regulatory compliance: Knowledge and experience in regulatory compliance requirements related to quality including ISO 9001 FDA regulations and other industryspecific regulations.
