Know Your Rights: are seeking a Radiologic Technologist I (PRN) internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I at Southern Regional Medical Center a member of Prime Healthcare. Focus will be on conducting diagnostic Xray procedures. This involves operating Xray equipment to capture images of patients internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing highquality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients. This position is on a per diem basis meaning PRN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
- conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography CT scans mammography bone density tests ultrasound and other examinations following departmental protocols
- responsible for ensuring that Xray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards which may involve performing equipment checks calibrations and troubleshooting as needed
- interact with patients to explain procedures address concerns and ensure their comfort and safety during Xray examinations
- maintain accurate records of Xray procedures including patient information images and relevant medical history
- stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification
- operate radiographic equipment to produce highquality images
- maintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Qualifications
- ARRTR is required
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
- Current BCLS (AHA)
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
- Proficient computer skills
