We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior SHE Advisor to join our SHE department at AstraZeneca Gothenburg. SHE related activities are integrated into all aspects of our work within AstraZeneca. The SHE department is responsible for developing suitable processes setting local standards and requirements to ensure a good workplace environment and to be able to contribute in an exemplary manner to the Groups sustainability work. Our SHE team delivers advice and support to the business meeting their current underlying needs while following the SHE processes and an agreed operating model.

What youll do

As a Senior SHE Advisor you will collaborate with a team to strategically and practically support systematic SHE management ensuring the maintenance of processes and standards. You will mainly work together with our Facility Management construction projects and some of our office and laboratory based departments.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Actively contribute within our SHE team to further develop our SHE competence management system and participate in improvement and development projects
• Collaborate with your dedicated partner departments to achieve our SHE objectives and targets
• Offer expert support on workplace environment legislation and SHE decisionmaking processes
• Conduct SHE audits and contribute to comprehensive site SHE reporting
• Participate in safety rounds risk analyses accidents investigations and project/organizational change activities

Essential Requirements:

• Profound knowledge and experience in Safety and Health with expertise in Swedish regulatory requirements
• 1015 years of work experience in the area of SHE in combination with relevant education or other experience that is equivalent
• Practical experience in workplace environment safety and a proactive positive approach
• Fluent Swedish and English language skills with strong communication skills
• Experience in a coordination role in the area of SHE with proven proactive curious and positive attitude
• Strong analytical problemsolving and collaborative abilities

Desirablefor the role:

• Experience in the biopharmaceutical/medtech industry as well as a Masters degree in engineering or equivalent
• Familiarity with European SHE regulations and ISO 14001/45001 standards preferably as an internal or external auditor
• Proven experience in a multinational and multicultural setting
• Understanding of Lean Thinking and Continuous Improvement principles
• Experience in working on digitalization and/or AI projects is a plus
