Postdoctoral Associate in Chemistry/Proteomics/Lipidomics
A Postdoctoral Associate position in proteomics is available for a chemist/chemical biologist to work on a research project Biological Functions of Glycolipids led by Dr. Zhongwu Guo in the Department of Chemistry. This position in our group works on: 1 sequencing and proteomics studies to reveal how DNA damages contribute to cancer and agingrelated diseases and 2 proteomics and lipidomics studies to disclose how GSLs correlate with aging related diseases such as Alzheimers disease. We are looking for an individual with a strong skillset in the areas of molecular biology proteomics and/or lipidomics sequencing bioinformatics and synthetic chemistry. The functions will include conducting research generating publications contributing to grants and progress reports and mentoring junior personnel in the lab.
Successful candidates must have a PhD in chemistry/chemical biology. This position will be initially awarded for one year and contingent upon strong performance and conduct and availability of funds may be renewed for up to two years.

Ph.D. in Chemistry/Chemical Biology
