About the Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity is available for an exceptional and experienced individual to support the Mitchell Shire community and join our Mitchell Childrens Services leadership team.
This exciting role is looking for a dynamic and highly skilled individual with experience and knowledge in the early years space supporting communities and with a commitment to embedding inclusion approaches and building the capacity of others.

About the role
Working as part of a team the CALD Outreach Officer will work directly with families and services to support inclusion and ongoing participation and address engagement barriers to education.
This role will focus on supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) children and their families to engage and attend kindergarten services and successfully transition to school.
This position will work closely with the Childrens Services team to build capacity of families and services providers support referral pathways foster connection and collaboration between families and education providers and embed inclusion and equality for all.

This role is a temporary part time opportunity. Remuneration begins at $88.9K to $96.7K. Band 6 pro rata plus superannuation and dependant on qualifications and experience.
