You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAssess & Educate Conduct health screenings nutrition assessments and breastfeeding education to determine WIC eligibility.
Provide Critical Resources Offer health referrals nutrition counseling and supplemental food packages to WIC participants.
Ensure Compliance Communicate changes in federal and state regulations and ensure program adherence.
Community Engagement Assess local needs conduct outreach efforts and promote breastfeeding education.
Improve Services Identify and implement best practices to enhance program effectiveness.
Bridge the Gap Serve as a liaison between local WIC clinics the Regional Nutrition Supervisor and the State WIC Agency.
PREFERENCES:
Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Nutrition Nursing Public Health or a related health field.
Strong understanding of maternal and child health nutrition and breastfeeding support.
Experience in grant writing administration and program evaluation.
Ability to supervise and motivate employees in a dynamic work environment.
Knowledge of Wyoming state statutes program administration and public health outreach.
