The Frances M. Maguire College of Nursing and Health Professions at Gwynedd Mercy University invites applications for a fulltime tenure or nontenure track undergraduate nursing faculty position. This 9month appointment begins in August 2025. Rank and salary will be commensurate with education and teaching experience.
The preferred candidate will demonstrate evidence of teaching effectiveness and a commitment to undergraduate BSN education. Expertise in nursing education particularly in the areas of medicalsurgical critical care and/or pharmacology is highly sought.
Responsibilities:
The faculty member will work closely with the BSN and ABSN/WBSN Coordinators to support the BSN Program. Responsibilities include teaching inperson hybrid and/or online undergraduate classes providing inclass and outofclass student support and participating in student advising. Additional responsibilities include participating in admissions and recruitment events and actively engaging in departmental university and professional activities. The successful candidate will be a dedicated teacherscholar committed to evidencebased practice experiential learning and inclusive pedagogies.
